'Welcome to the 1st segment of the @LæsioOnBass \"Motivate Me\" series. I created the Motivate Me series as a way to stay focused and encouraged to practice and play music during the COVID-19 pandemic. Playing with amazing musicians is motivating for me and, hopefully, for you too! \"In A Sentimental Mood\" with Pepe Gonzalez (bassist) is played in the 1st segment and is dedicated to the Jazz greats we lost to COVID-19 (Ellis Marsalis, Wallace Roney and Henry Grimes just to name a few) and those taken from us through systemic racism and acts of police and individual brutality (far too many to name). Despite the difficulties, the Motivate Me Series aims to help us keep moving forward. Thank you for watching. Don\'t forget to like the video! Check back often!
