'Kicking, perhaps even more so than punching, relies heavily on understanding and stacking the mechanics behind each kick in order to execute efficiently. If you\'re looking for maximum force output with lower risk of injury then it\'s important to understand positioning and precise movement of each part of your body that goes into a kick. Simply throwing a roundhouse kick without hitting each of these points could result in a variety of injuries including your knees and back. In this video, Coach Johnathan demonstrates and breaks down the mechanics of a roundhouse, or \"Whip\", kick. Working out these details and executing each piece in harmony, you\'ll be able to build a firm foundation with which to perfect this kick. As with all things, practice makes perfect! Developing Leaders. For GHF & The Community. Part of the GHF culture is to develop leaders. What does this mean for our community? We take young talent and give them opportunities to learn, grow, and practice leadership qualities over the course of their employment here. Many of our former employees stayed in Gainesville to pursue careers and tell us how much their experience has influenced their performance and advancement. Keeping talent in Gainesville is a worthy initiative. 3. Continuous Improvement. Investing Locally. Continuous improvement is a serious part of our culture resulting in large investments in our facilities, business practices, and staff impacting our local business community. We will continue to expand, innovate, and renovate, not only to remain relevant as a business but also to recruit people to Gainesville and keep them here. This is one of the most important lifelines for a community. 4. Enculturation. The Voice Of The Employee. We embrace a major employee initiative that is unique and differentiating called Enculturation. It is a comprehensive system for the employee and the company to hear the voice of the employee for continuous improvement. Our employees serve on pillar teams to focus on people, service, and brand.
