Hi, I\'m Dick Bartling, Golf Fitness Expert at the Avera Sports Institute, and I want to show you an exercise you can do that will help improve the strength of your forearms, and help maintain your wrist cock in the golf swing. Just take a 5 or 6 iron and stand with the club at your side, and just go ahead and pull your wrist up until the club is above parallel to the ground. Hold briefly, and then back down. That\'s the exact same position that the wrist is in when it\'s cocked in the golf swing, and this is a great way to help strengthen those muscles; particularly for younger players and female players that lack strength there, and have difficulty maintaining that wrist cock.
