'Battle ropes are for all ages, not just for the youngins, and are one of my favorite fitness tools. They are challenging, dynamic, explosive and can be a full body workout. Now, if you don\'t have battle ropes, use light dumbbells, anywhere from 2-5 lbs. Or, you can grab a couple of soup cans or bottles of water. It may not sound like much but trust me, it will be plenty. Try for four rounds of 30x30 (30 seconds of work followed by 30 seconds of rest) or 20x20, etc. Adjust for your current fitness level, challenge yourself but don\'t overdo it. Remember, it\'s always Quality over Quantity. If your form breakdown your done, go to the next move. Take a 60 second rest between rounds. Modify and take longer breaks if needed. Always make sure to do a short warm-up and cool-down and stretch when finished. I hope you find this helpful and see that fitness can be challenging, fun, and great for all ages. I hope I can help and inspire you and that you\'ll be able to do all of the things you want to do on and off of the lanes and enjoy both to the fullest.
