'02.21.2020 | 3:55 PM | SANTA FE SPRING - A man was killed after being shot in the parking lot of a Planet Fitness gym in a drive-by shooting, Friday evening. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down outside the Planet Fitness located in the 11100 block of Washington Boulevard around 3:55 PM. Units arriving on scene located a man down suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Initial reports indicate the driver of a white sedan opened fire on the victim before fleeing eastbound on Washington Boulevard. No suspect description or motive was immediately available. Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal drive-by shooting. For video licensing and use contact [email protected].'
