'Calisthenics Is For Prison? My Feature In Joe Rogans Podcast'

'Is calisthenics based on workouts from prison? On episode #1371 of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, I was featured in a segment where Joe Rogan and Andrew Santino (he sounds like a hater) talked about how impressed he was regarding the achievements of calisthenics athletes. He showed a few video clips of us working out in the park, performing muscle-ups and other advanced bodyweight movements. Throughout this portion of the podcast, Andrew Santino appears to discredit the amount of hard work that goes into performing advanced bodyweight movements and also refers to calisthenics as \"prison workouts\" and is seemingly convinced that calisthenics originated behind prison walls. Joe Rogan\'s response to Andrew\'s comments pretty much sums up how ignorant he sounds. Whether he\'s deliberately attempting to sound ignorant isn\'t for me to say, however, numerous people do try to paint calisthenics in this \"negative\" picture.
