'Interval Training: Involves exercise at intensities close to VO2 max. The work intervals should last between 3 and 5 minutes Although they can be as short as 30 seconds. The rest intervals for 3-5 min work intervals should be equal to the work interval, thereby keeping the work:rest (W:R) at 1:1 The Drill: 1. Set up two cones 22 yds. apart. 2. You will complete 3 sprints down in back or 6 sprints in total. 3. You will perform a total of 15 sets. 4. You will have a 2 minute rest in between each 5 sets 5. In between rounds you will have 30 seconds to rest 6. You must complete each set in 30 seconds or less'
