'The No Ocean Surfing Workout Performed In A Forest'

01:36 Dec 3, 2023
'About as far as you can get from the ocean in the UK. But if you can\'t make it to the beach the forest is a great place to bring some nature into your surfing training. There are only four exercises in this workout. We recommend you perform them with a timer for at least 60 seconds each with 10 seconds rest. Mason is so old he just does what he pleases on the day but always works to fatigue. Breakdown of the exercises available here http://www.rooboard.com/ocean-surfing-workout-performed-forest/ 1. Paddle Outs You need a resistance band for this. Perform a swimming stroke using the raised arm as an anchor point for the downward pull. This is a tricky exercise to master but works really well to strengthen the shoulders when you get it right. Keep the movement slow and controlled. 2. Shoulder Press Kneeling on the Rooboard (single pad) forces the core muscles to engage to maintain stability. 3. Pop Ups Ideally you would do these from a belly on the ground position but Mason didn\'t want to lie in the dirt. Use the pads as a guideline for your landing positioning. You can also vary the width of the pads to replicate your hand positioning on your board. 4. Balance Squats One of the unique design features of the Rooboard is that you can use the deck with the pads or the pads on their own for balance exercises. This means you can practice wide or narrow stance. The Rooboard is available at http://www.rooboard.com'
