'Michael Thomas has been involved in the fitness industry for over 20 years, first in Australia, Asia, Europe. After a long tenure with California Fitness, Asia, as their Regional Director of Group X, Michael began work with Zumba LLC heading the training and development team for Asia. After successfully launching the program Asia wide, he headed north focussing his energy on training instructors in Denmark, Sweden and Finland. Currently conducting training for potential Zumba® instructors in Asia and Australia, Michael is fulfilling his dream to help people change their lives through regular exercise and a balanced lifestyle. He specializes in combining dance with group exercise classes and has been an international presenter and producer of exercise videos for REM music company as well as numerous international fitness conventions. Michael currently features frequently on Zumba® fitness education DVD\'s as well as being a regular presenter at Zumba® conventions and conferences worldwide. He regularly tours Europe, Asia and Australia delivering well attended masterclasses. Michael has himself danced professionally alongside talented artists such as Kylie Minogue, Elton John, James Brown, Macy Gray,Duran Duran, Leon Lai, Anita Mui and Sandy Lam. He has choreographed shows for many corporate events throughout Asia and Australia and built a reputable name for himself as a dancer and choreographer across the region.'
