'Hello chickadees and chickadudes. My name is Kim, and I have lost more than 100 pounds with Weight Watchers. I am currently on the WW personal points plan. I get 22 points a day and 21 weekly points. In today\'s video, I am sharing the results of my 30-day fitness challenge. In November, I pledged that I wanted to incorporate strength training three days a week. I had been working out with weights one to two times a week. Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/foot.notes/ Business inquiries: hlthystrides@gmail.com For my 30-day fitness challenge, I followed Sydney Cummings workouts on YouTube. I wanted to start working on my weaknesses and not letting fear dictate the exercises I tried. Strength training can play an important part in your weight loss, especially if you are on the WW personal points plan. Working out with weights can help you build lean muscle, which boosts your metabolism; protects your joints; helps you avoid injury; and improves your body confidence. Also, as you age, you can lose up to 5 percent of your muscle mass per year. I am 40 years old and very active so it\'s important to incorporate strength training into my workout routine, especially as I try to lose weight on the WW personal points plan. During my 30-day fitness challenge, I was reminded of a few things: Change does not happen overnight and definitely not as quickly as we would like You can exercise for hours and hours but you have to stay on track on the WW personal points plan Sometimes success looks differently than we expect Our goals need to be SMART #wwpersonalpoints #fitnesschallenge #sydneycummings #strengthtraining'
