'It all started when I was young. From being inspired by movie trailers and video game montages, I decided to pick up a video cassette tape, record my Halo 2 Gameplay, and put some music to it. When I was old enough to buy an HD recorder for my Xbox gameplay, I started making YouTube videos. I pumped out call of duty montages like it was nothing. I fell in love with it. There was just something about creating something for others to watch and comment on. I got great feedback from fans. I did not really fit in with a particular group of friends in my childhood and early teenage years. I was very quiet and confused of who I truly was. Because of this, I spent a lot of time alone. In this time spent alone, I enjoyed playing video games and making YouTube videos. I love doing this so much…. Until people who knew me in real life caught on. They called me names, told me to go outside, and I let it get to me. I deleted all of my videos because of what others thought of me. I fell into a deep depression and cruised through the next four years of my life confused and hopeless of what I could do with my passions of creating content… It was just this year I made a step towards a field that I knew I should have given a try all along - videography. I started out making a fitness edit for a friend of a friend, and it sparked something inside of me. The same feeling I had when I created video game YouTube videos. This time I was not going to let others bring me down, and believe me, they tried. Just three months ago, I began my journey as a videographer, capturing moments every chance I got. I learned throughout this journey that we are all born with some sort of gift. My gift is the ability to create and share things with the world. I am more than glad to announce that I am applying to Steve Cooks opening videographer position. The past three months I have been working full time as a videographer.
