For those of you thinking that you can get this from you local pharmacists, let me give you a brief definition. A medicine ball (also known as an exercise ball, a med ball, or a fitness ball) is a weighted ball, covered in leather and comes in several diameters.  Often used for fitness, rehabilitation and strength training, it serves an important role because they allow for improved range of motion, core strength, coordination, flexibility, joint integrity, and upper and lower body strength.  It should not be confused with the larger, inflated exercise ball. Medicine balls are usually sold as 2--25 lb (0.91--11 kg) balls.  They are also portable so they will not take up a lot of room yet you can do so much with them. A medicine ball or two is a perfect addition to your fitness equipment collection.  The exercise options are endless and I will give you a few today.  As you can hear in my heavy breathing, it takes you workout up a notch. B NAKED WORKOUT means no equipment needed.  Sorry to disappoint those who were looking for something else (wink with a smile). All you need is your body, a timer (you can use your phone or watch), enough room to spread your arms and legs and occasionally one equipment (in our A NAKED Workout programs). Visit http://Blog.Bodelogix.com for the list of exercises, info, tips and more!  Each round will consist of 5 exercises, done for 60 seconds, 3 times through.  The only rest is the brief time to move into the next exercise or restart your timer.  You can do up to 3 rounds for a heart pumping workout or start with one round.  Don\'t forget the 2 minute dynamic warm up and 3 minute after workout stretch.  All I ask of you is at least 20 minutes a day (one round) 3-5 days a week.   Beginners start with one round and move up to 3 rounds.
