Tierney joined Arsenal in the summer from Celtic but arrived carrying a knock which kept him out until October. The Scotland international impressed initially as he shared the left-back role with Sead Kolasinac. But just as Tierney was becoming settled he dislocated his shoulder against West Ham in December. After surgery to fix the issue, Tierney has since resumed non-contact training and is ahead of schedule in his recovery. His return would be a welcome boost to head coach Mikel Arteta and Forsythe believes the defender is primed to make an instant impact when fully fit.
