I\'m Alex Fell from Warrior Fitness Boot Camp here in New York City. We\'re going to discuss how to do Step-Up, which is a great leg toning exercise to really tap into building that strength and tone in your quads, your hamstrings, your glutes, and your calves as well. Now you want to start out with a couple different boxes of varying heights, depending upon your fitness level. You could start out with a smaller box and work your way up to a larger box. Now what you want to do basically is approach the box. Get your body nice and square with it. And what you\'re going to do is, you\'re going to start with your right foot. You\'re going to step up to it, and then step with your other leg right up onto it. Just like that. It\'s that simple. OK. Step down. And then repeat. Switch legs. And repeat with your other leg. OK? Now obviously the higher that you can go with the box the more benefit you\'re going to get, and more strength you\'re going to build within that leg. And as you get stronger, you\'ll be able to progress to each box. Other ways of making this a little bit more intense and getting more benefit out of it, is by throwing a high knee into the workout. So all you\'re going to do is, you\'re going to step up with that right leg, bring that left leg up, hold nice and steady, then step back down. All right? It\'s going to tap into your core. It\'s going to help you build that balance in your lower leg to help you really stabilize those little muscles that you may not normally ever get to use. Another way to really increase the intensity is to grab a set of dumbbells or some cans. Whatever you have available, and just step up, pull them to your side, and just step right down. And do multiple sets. Down and up. And alternate each leg. Just like that. That\'s how you do a Step-Up. Thank you.'
