'Project templates over time can get overpopulated with unnecessary items especially if it was started from an existing project, had details and families pulled in from existing projects. Or maybe you’re starting a new template from an existing project and you want to swap and/or delete all those dimension styles or text styles to just one or two standardized styles. Creating views in your project can be a mundane and repetitive task, maybe you need to create a floor plan for five areas across three levels along with phasing. The amount of time to complete that for one user can be overwhelming for one user, what if I told you one user can complete all of that in a matter of minutes. In this webinar we’ll go over the type swapper and the view creator from CTC tools. I’ll show how you can use the type swapper to lean out your current project and/or project template by swapping and deleting unnecessary or redundant dimensions styles, text types and line styles to name a few. I’ll also show how to quickly create views in your project either using pre-defined scope boxes, using phases in your project or creating extra levels views for those levels. I’ll also show how to ensure your views are using the right view templates, and if not, how to correct it. Learning Objectives • Introduction to Type Swapper interface • Convert various element types in a project to one or the correct types • Create views across phases • Ensure your views are associated to the correct view template Webinar from Feb. 13, 2020, hosted by Architecture Technical Specialist Patrick Podeyn.'
